If you have ever been to Italy, then you will completely understand when we say that it steals a little piece of your heart every time you visit. It truly is life changing!
This DAVIS LOVE STORY workshop is an all-inclusive 5 nights/ 6 days experience of a lifetime. Join Bob as he photographs the wedding of Giulia + Marco at the magnificent Castello di Montignano which dates back to the 10th century, set in wonderful countryside near Massa Martana, about 10km from Todi, in Umbria. We will also be heading out on daily photo excursions, hold classroom sessions and review images from our shoots.
Bob will show you how he gets the shot mastering your flash and camera settings. You will be shooting with him as he reveals all his techniques and helps you improve the quality of your images right in camera. He'll show you how to become a seeker of light and how to use creative lighting techniques to make each image sing.
During the classroom style settings, I (Dawn) will be sharing, in detail, how we took our small town business to success and how you can too. I will share how I raised our prices to meet the client who appreciates us for our talents, how we handle client meetings, how we win over our client's respect. We will review images from the wedding day and Bob will critique. I will show you how I retouch Bob images to make them sing! We will discuss how we manage our workflow and post production process, along with the decisions we made on our branding, and our marketing approach.
Please know that during our adventures, there will be a lot of walking. Some Italian villages are filled with beautiful rolling hills which make for a steep walk. Please make sure to have comfortable clothing and shoes because you will want to make the most out of your trip.
We are still working on booking the villas that we will be staying at. It will all depend on how many people we have signed up to attend. As soon as we have that information, we will share it with you. We are in the best hands possible with our travel guides, Max Brunelli and Cris Chiacchierini. They are a husband and wife team who hosted us last November. We had the best visit to Italy with them and we are excited about this next adventure as they are truly the best!
If attendees would like to bring a family member, we encouraged them to share this once in a lifetime experience. Each attendee can bring a guest to join them. They are welcome to join us on on all excursions, however the classroom setting portions are reserved for the attendees of the workshop. They may want to sleep in or or explore the sites during this time. There will be plenty of exciting things to enjoy together even if they are not a photographer.

Price includes lodging, all in-country transportation and meals. Please note that all attendees are responsible for their own airfare to Italy. We will eat as a group daily and enjoy genuine local cuisine. This is going to be a relaxing and very enjoyable adventure!
The entire non-refundable fee will be charged to your credit card so please make sure you have no conflicts in your schedule before moving forward with your registration. We have provided several registration options which will depend on whether or not you are bring a guest, if you want double occupancy or a private room.
Each day will be tailored around site seeing and making amazing photogs. Bob will provide instruction daily and I will be sharing business, marketing and Photoshop skills daily, to inspire you to make the most of your photography career. The day of the wedding will be focused on Giulia and Marco.
