Bob and Dawn are really amazing people. When I became engaged I called them right away to see if Bob would be willing and available to shoot my wedding!

Let's back up, in 2008, I won a seat to the Vegas Love Story workshop where Bob shot a real wedding. I was so excited about the opportunity to attend this workshop because I knew Bob was an expert at what I lacked. . . finding the light. I can't even explain how much better my photos became just shortly after mastering what I learned at the workshop.

When I attended this workshop I was new in the industry and was quickly surrounded by people who were higher on the totem pole in the industry than I was. These connections were truly valuable for my career. I was so pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere of the workshop. Honestly, I was intimidated to work alongside the photographer that many celebrities trust to shoot their weddings, but Bob and Dawn were both so patient and helpful. They are genuinely caring people.

Previously to the Davis workshop I was shooting in automatic mode (Ahhh, I know!), I didn't know a whole lot about my camera or networking, and I had only a handful of weddings under my belt. The workshop gave me the inspiration, motivation, and knowledge I needed to improve my shooting skills and run my business better and more effectively as a whole. I learned a lot about my camera and its settings. Going to the workshop really put things into perspective for me.

The Vegas Love Story workshop gave me more than just the weekend of shooting. Gaining incredible knowledge opened up a whole new world for me and the experience opened many doors. I expanded my network, gained lifelong friends and improved my technical abilities that continue to grow everyday.

After having this experience, my wedding business has more than doubled since the workshop. My clients LOVE the book that I made from that wedding and I have mastered shooting in Manual mode.

So, after this wonderful experience with Bob and Dawn I couldn't resist shooting them an email when I got engaged to see if we could do it again!
