Check Out The Beautiful Ocean Lodge Hotel
This DAVIS LOVE STORY workshop is a 3 day experience of a lifetime. Join Bob Davis as he photographs the wedding of Sarah and Brent at the exquisite Ocean Lodge hotel in St. Simons Island, Georgia. Sarah is a photographer that attended our Vegas Love Story workshop (and she is now a treasured friend of ours). It's her turn, as she's getting married to Dr. Brent DeShaw and they want to share their wedding day with you!
Leave your pens and pencils behind, we'll supply those, and bring what you love . . . your cameras! Bob will show you how he gets the shot mastering your flash and camera settings. You will be shooting with him as he reveals all his techniques and helps you improve the quality of your images right in camera. He'll show you how to become a seeker of light and how to use creative lighting techniques to make each image sing.
DAY ONE begins with a meet and greet and flash lecture at the exquisite Ocean Lodge hotel in St. Simons Island, then on to a night shoot with Sarah and Brent.
DAY TWO we will meet at the Ocean Lodge hotel and begin photographing Sarah and Brent getting ready, making sure to cover all the details. Then onto the first look where Brent will see Sarah for the first time in her dress. We'll follow that with a beautiful photo walk where we'll capture amazing images and some fun group portraits. Onto the dinner, sunset ceremony and dessert reception.
DAY THREE will begin at the Ocean Lodge hotel in a conference room where Dawn Davis (Bob's wife ~ and partner in crime!) will show you how she creates her beautiful book designs. She will share with you her Photoshop knowledge and all her secrets to designing for the stars! If you are spending hours or even days on your designs, you won't want to miss this!
After Dawn's book/album design workshop, we're off to do a "Trash The Dress" session at the ever-so-amazing Driftwood Beach on Jeckyll Island with Sarah and Brent, along with a few of their friends who will model. We'll have 4 hours to take some of the most incredible photographs. This place is spectacular and it will bring a great element to your portfolio!
